Yes — the home includes a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for cooking meals during your stay including: full-size refrigerator, range/oven, dishwasher, Keurig coffee make with pods and carafe, coffee grinder, microwave, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, serving bowls, crockpot/slow cooker, blender, pancake griddle, and special kid's plates and cups. There's too many things to list, so feel free to check with us if you are in need of something for your stay!
A Cozy River House comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests with 3 queen beds and 4 twin beds, making it ideal for families, couples, and groups exploring Forks, the Hoh Rain Forest, Olympic National Park, and coastal beaches. Our spacious Bunk Room with 1 queen bed and 4 twin beds and a TV is fantastic for families, kids, or groups of any kind. We even have what we call the "Little Fish Room" inside the Bunk Room that is popular with adults and kids alike!

Most major carriers have reliable service in the area, however Verizon seems to be the most consistenly reliable cell service in the area. In the event cell service isn't working, there is a landline telephone at the house to receive calls, for local calls, and in case of an emergency.
Yes — the home is nestled directly on the banks of Sol Duc River, offering peaceful views, wildlife sightings, and a true Pacific Northwest riverfront experience. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the river year-round from the covered back deck. Light the cozy gas firepit and gather with family and friends, or curl up with a good book. See bald eagles fly by (and sometimes landing on the trees near the house) and otters playing on the river bank!
The cabin is on the bank of the Sol Duc River and has amazing river views, but no direct river access. There is gradual, easy river access just down the street from the cabin at a public boat launch and fishing area access at the intersection of Steelhead Avenue and Maxfield Road. The access area is within short, walking distance of the cabin - only about a 1/4 mile. Parking is permitted there as well with a Discover Pass.

Absolutely! A Cozy River House is one of THE BEST places to stay when visiting Forks to see all of the famous locations from the Twilight books. A Cozy River House is just minutes from popular Twilight book locations, making it a perfect stay for Twilight fans. While staying at A Cozy River House, it will be easy to envision the vampires and werewolf pack running through the forest right across the river - who knows who you'll see running through the forest while relaxing on the back deck...

Early check‑in and late check‑out may be available depending on the cleaning schedule. We will always do our best to accommodate early check-in and late check-out requests. Guests must contact the Host directly to request availability.
Although we truly love animals, to protect the home for all guests and due to extensive prior property damage, we’re no longer able to host pets at this time. We kindly ask guests to respect this policy, as violations will result in fees and immediate cancellation of the stay without refund.
For those traveling with pets, rest assured there are many other lodging options in Forks that do allow pet guests. Be sure to keep in mind that although dogs on a leash can join their owners for hikes on Olympic National Forest trails, pets aren't allowed on most of the Olympic National Park hiking trails and beaches.

An easy stroll just down the street from A Cozy River House to the Maxfield Road public fishing area access affords easy, gradual entry to the famous Sol Duc River.
